I welcome the dawn of a new day
A brand new chance for another way.
An opportunity to choose differently
To hold the important people dearly.
To explore new things; to embrace new ideas
Gifts and talents or champion a new cause.
Only spending time on worthwhile schemes
All the while looking forward to heavenly prizes.
I sense the start of a new beginning
A new path that only the Lord can bring
How He does this is still baffling.
Every day, every dawn it comes again.
The grace He gives to start afresh.
