“I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.” – Isaiah 45:2-3
Have you ever been in a situation that was so tough that you thought you would never make it through? Have you survived against incredible odds? I personally have made it through and is making it through several difficulties that I know for sure that if it weren’t for God continuously going ahead of me and clearing ‘traffic’ I would never see my way out. The strength to wade through some of the dysfunction that living life will sometimes bring I certainly didn’t have without the Lord’s intervention.
God is always going ahead of his children to make a way for them. He makes it possible for us to say we will survive when everyone says we’ll never make it. He restores our homes and relationships where all seems completely hopeless. We get a job that we know that we are less than qualified for because God has gone ahead before us. Others believe we should not have the position or credibility that we have in our careers simply because they may have more degrees than a thermometer but we fortunately have more God!
God breaks all barriers and situations that we think can never change. Circumstances are transformed sometimes practically overnight. People that said that they could never be moved will simply be swept away and those that said they wouldn’t budge will find their hearts changing as Gods makes a way where there seems to be no way. The concept of time to God and man are two very different concepts – that is why waiting on the Lord is never a futile effort. God is always on time every single time. He knows what we need and when we need it.
