Always in my Head

Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me; your right hand will hold me fast. – Psalm 139:7-10

Since I gave my life to the Lord Jesus Christ, my entire world has been transformed. My dreams, desires and goals have changed. My thought life and actions have also been renewed. I am slowly beginning to understand that I cannot hide from the Lord. I am always in His presence. He is always on my mind. Even when I do wrong, I cannot escape His Holy Spirit that dwells deep inside of me. Many a time, I put myself out and endanger my mind, my heart and my life but the Lord steps in just in the nick of time to move me out of harms way.

We cannot hide from God. He is everywhere and he sees everything. Wherever we go and whatever we do, we must understand God has His watchful eyes on us. The Bible tells us His eye is on the sparrow. I don’t know about you but that makes me very prayerful and very vigilant. I try to do what I believe will be pleasing to God and avoid compromising situations. With difficult circumstances arise; I put my faith to work to keep me safe. I trust in God that He will strengthen me and help me make the correct choice.

Keep God first and foremost in your life. Let him be your main focus in everything that you do; the central core from which you operate.
