It is Time to Seek the Lord

O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. – Psalm 63:1-3

It is time for us to earnestly seek God. Our land thirsts for God. Whether we know it or not, the world longs for a touch from God. Things have now gone from bad to worse. This is not just an issue in America; it is global. The entire world needs to turn to God and seek his face.

We must humble ourselves and acknowledge all the wrong that we continue to perpetrate. We continue to choose to go against the laws of God as outlined in His Holy Word. We select wrong choices over the right ones and expect the world to be a happy place for us and our children. How can that be possible?

America and the world has lost its connection with God. It is time for us to change our ways so that this great nation and other great nations around the world can start to enjoy the kind of world that God intended for us. God did not die for the sins of a select few so that the majority can live dysfunctionally and in turmoil, he died for the sins of the entire world; so we can all live abundant lives.
