Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. – Isaiah 40:3-5a
When we are walking in the will of God for our lives and obstacles arise in our path, we are to trust that the God we serve will do His part. Circumstances should never prevent us from staying on course and continuing in the assignment that God has given us. No-one said life would be easy. God did promise us believers a trouble-free life. Faith is not a shield against the struggles of this life rather faith lets us know that there are promised blessings after our seasons in the expected valleys of life.
God never gives his children assignments without first making the provisions available for them to complete the tasks. Even when we encounter difficulties while trying to fulfill the purposes of God for our lives, we must rest in the comfort that God will always rescue us if our circumstances threaten the roles he wants us to play. Our God is a God who can do anything. He is the God who moves mountains out of our way. He is the kind God who goes ahead of us and makes all the crooked places straight. No-one can stop God’s purpose in your life. No-one can do anything to harm you unless God allows it.
Be strong and courageous. Never give up on your dreams. Continue faithfully in your walk with God and the pictures you visualized in your heart will come to light. Trust God to help you and compromise your communion with him. To be able hear from God, you must know his voice. Do everything in your power to stay in an intimate relationship with God so He can order your footsteps.
